SA: Wheels award to be announced today

ADELAIDE, Jan 20 AAP - Australia's top motoring accolade, the Wheels magazine Car of
the Year award for 2003, will be announced today.

The most coveted prize in Australian motoring is tipped to go to an imported model
with only the Holden Adventra flying the flag for the local car producers among the 18
finalists.

Among the leaders contenders are the new BMW 5 Series, the Toyota Prius, the Volkswagen
Touareg, the Mazda RX-8, the Nissan 350Z and the Subaru Liberty.

Other cars in the final group are the Audi A8, the BMW Z4, the Adventra, Honda …
