NSW: Explicit artwork pulled from Mardi Gras festival

An artwork featuring sexually suggestive images of young children has been pulled from
this year's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festival.

Titled Favourite Things, the video montage was pulled from the exhibition, Nude Salon,
a day before the show's opening last Saturday.

Festival director DAVID FENTON has told Sydney Star Observer newspaper that the video
was inappropriate and could have resulted in possible police intervention.
